Founder Stephen Ricket, served as a Marine from 1984-1993. I am not a combat Veteran, never received any distinguished service recognition (ribbons, medals, awards, etc.). I served voluntarily and during that time I became ill. What ever impacted my life also had an impact on my spouses and children (post 1991) too. I am seeking answers like so many others and this was the source of my inspiration to build this business. To provide a place where Vietnam / Agent Orange and Persian Gulf Era Veterans could seek help with what we (and our family members) have been dealing with for so long.

I served during the COLD WAR ERA (1984-1993). I am not decorated, have no combat action, and no special medals. I am just another Veteran who is going through what so many are and trying to help others deal with what the VA tells us is all in our heads. Its been 60 years that Vietnam ERA Agent Orange Veterans are still fighting to obtain their own coverage for their illnesses (and those of their spouses and children too. For the PERSIAN GULF ERA Veterans its already been 35 years and we are still being treated like we are all just psychotic malingerers that have no clue what heathy used to feel like. I fall into that GREY area (that the VA painted) where the VA says “THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY YOU COULD HAVE BEEN EXPOSED BECAUSE YOU WEREN’T WHERE WE SAID YOU HAD TO BE AT THE TIME WE SAID YOU HAD TO BE.” We don’t need the VA’s permission if we have the PACT ACT presumptive service-connected conditions. Likewise, if a person was exposed to an Agent of War they rate the Purple Heart (which can also include multiple awards). EXPOSED IS EXPOSED (REGARDLESS OF DATE OR LOCATION)
