You   want   to   know   if   you   can   fly   where   you   live   (or   where   you   want   to)?      There   are   many helpful   websites   and   cell   phone   applications   which   can   provide   you   with   some   very   good information.  Here are a few keys to take into consideration also: Are you planning to fly lower than 400 AGL (above ground level - not sea level)? Are you planning to fly within line of site (or not)? Are you planning to fly during the day (or night)? Are you planning to fly in an area where there are people or animals (especially horses)? Are   you   planning   on   flying   within   5   miles   of   an   airfield   (commercial   or   private)   or   within   city limits? Are there obstacles like power lines, buildings, trees, mountains? Are you planning on flying over property that you do not own? What is the purpose of the flight?  Photos, videos, mapping? Are you planning on having someone model or pose for the camera? How long do you need the UAS to fly (minutes, hours, days, weeks, months)? These   are   just   a   few   of   the   questions   that   must   be   answered   before   anyone   can   fly   for   you.      If they   don’t   want   to   know   these   things   then   they   are   not   following   the   FAA   rules,   regulations and guidelines under the 107 license.
3DNSEW (Pronounced; 3-D N SEW) means 3D = 3 dimensions (aerial, ground and underwater) NSEW = (North, South, East & West).
